As of the first half of this year, the number of new energy vehicles in China has exceeded 10 million. Power replacement has become a new way to supplement energy in the new energy vehicle industry. The New Energy Vehicle Industry Development Plan (2021-2035) pointed out that we should speed up the construction of power charging and changing infrastructure and encourage the application of power changing mode. The reporter found that the enterprises with the current layout of power change mode are mainly divided into three categories, the first category is BAIC, Weilai, Geely, GAC and other vehicle enterprises, the second category is Ningde Times and other power battery manufacturers, and the third category is Sinopec, GCL Energy Technology, Aodong New Energy and other third-party power change operators.
For new players in the incoming power change mode, the first question to answer is: for commercial users (to B) or for individual users (to C)? From the use frequency and application scenarios of power replacement, different enterprises give different choices.
For consumers, the most obvious advantage of power replacement is that it can save time for energy supplement. If charging mode is adopted, even fast charging generally takes about half an hour, while changing power usually takes only a few minutes.
At the power exchange station of Weilai Automobile in the small town of Daning, Shanghai, the reporter saw that more than 3 p.m., there was a continuous stream of users coming to exchange power, and it took less than 5 minutes for each vehicle to change power. Mr. Mei, the owner of the car, said: "Now the power change is automatic. I mainly drive in the city. After more than a year, I feel it is more convenient."

In addition, the adoption of the car electricity separation sales model can also save certain car purchase costs for individual users. Take Weilai as an example. If users choose battery rental service and do not buy a standard battery pack, they can pay 70000 yuan less for the car, while the battery rental service fee is 980 yuan per month.
Some insiders also believe that the power replacement mode is more suitable for commercial scenarios, including taxis, logistics heavy trucks, etc. Deng Zhongyuan, Director of the Marketing Center of BAIC Bluevalley Intelligent (Beijing) Energy Technology Co., Ltd., said: "BAIC Motor Corporation Limited has launched nearly 40000 plug-in electric vehicles nationwide, mainly targeting the taxi market, with more than 20000 in Beijing. Ruilan Automobile, a power change travel brand jointly funded by Geely Automobile and Lifan Technology, gives consideration to both commercial users and individual users. Cai Jianjun, vice president of Remax, said that Remax chose to walk on "two legs" because of the transformation of the two scenarios. For example, when individual users participate in online car hailing, the vehicles have commercial properties.
"I predict that by 2025, 60% of the newly sold electric vehicles will be rechargeable and 40% will be rechargeable and replaceable.
